When you have plenty of oranges and do not want them to go to waste make an orange pie. It is not as popular as your other pies like apple or peach, but prepared properly it can be a very pleasant experience. First you will need to see what ingredients you have readily available or what kind of taste you desire. Then you pick a premade pie crust to go with that or make your own. You can choose a simple pie crust or one made of crushed cookies of your choice like an oreo cookie crust. You will have to experiment to see what flavor you like better with your oranges.

Once you have the crust you are half way there. You then can slice up your oranges into small pieces, or you can blend them it all depends on you. I suggest you start with a simple easy recipe that requires no baking because it will save you time. You will have to first feel the oranges and then cut them up in manageable pieces. This should be the most time consuming part of making an orange pie unless you decide on a more labor intensive recipe. You place these pieces in a blender and blend for about a minute stirring to make sure all pies are blended. If the oranges are not ripe enough and too bitter to your taste you can add a little sugar or sugar substitute to your liking. Then you will place a pack of cream cheese and stir in the blender until it is thoroughly mixed. Finally you will pour this unto your pie crust and let refrigerate for at least an hour so it thickens. Then you serve!
